About Us |

Dance Peninsula Ballet, a non profit organization, was founded in 1988. Our mission is to encourage dancers to develop to their fullest potential by achieving a high level of technique through training, artistic skills via performing opportunities, and a sense of community through our outreach programs. Our covenant with the public is to make each of our dance performances an unforgettable experience for both our audience and our dancers. Our staff unites a variety of dance professionals with many years of experience who are devoted and dedicated to the artistic needs of future professional dancers. Dance Peninsula Ballet members train at the Peninsula School of Performing Arts in Lunada Bay in Palos Verdes, California.

Help keep the Arts Alive! As a non-profit organization, Dance Peninsula Ballet relies heavily on the support of individuals in the community, corporate donations, and Foundation Grants to fund its programming and administrative costs.

Dance Peninsula Ballet is committed to the highest artistic standards and will continue to provide the community with a first rate dance company and quality programs. There are several affordable giving levels of membership in support of Dance Peninsula Ballet.
We need your help! Your tax deductible donations will make a difference.
Donations of any amount are also greatly appreciated to fund our Outreach programs including our annual Nutcracker Outreach performance for Seniors, At Risk Youth, and Adults and Youth with Special Needs. We also support outreach opportunities for our dancers to peer mentor youth with special needs and share the gift of dance.

Other Achievements Two of our members competed in the Youth America Grand Prix (YAGP) in Los Angeles and advanced to the New York round of competition.
2013 Graduating Member will attend Chapman College to major in Sports Medicine and minor in Dance.
